Neighborhood

Take a stroll through this beautiful park and you will instantly restore your soul and bring you peace of mind. The beautiful Koi Pond in the center offers you a moment to calm your thinking and just walking through the greenery to see the different species of trees is amazing. I love the large stone turtles. It is well worth the visit and does justice to the man in which the park is named after.

WASHINGTON PARK

Many people walk their dogs here and also just sit and enjoy the peace and greenery. There are an amazing assortment of trees to wander around and read descriptions of.

Great for jogging and walking your dog around the perimeter. Specially catered for fitness buffs.

LEGAZPI ACTIVE PARK

In this place, you can mingle with the locals. Take in this lovely space by taking a jog around the manicured paths or sit and enjoy the lush greenery and remind yourself that you are in the middle of the city.

This is a very clean and well maintained park in the middle of the Makati skyscrapers.

It is not crowded and you feel very safe here as it is a nice blend of residential and commercial buildings.

Not too big. Just the right place to spend time here for a stroll or to unwind.

Ditch the indoor gym of your hotel for a visit to this park if you are in a hotel within a kilometre of this park.

LEGAZPI SUNDAY MARKET

Nice Sunday market in the heart of the business district with a good selection of food vendors, stalls for knickknacks, art, clothes, plants, and fresh produce. More food stalls than the Salcedo Market (which is only every Saturday), but less food options as there were a lot of stalls selling the same type of food. More chairs and tables compared to Salcedo Market making it easier to enjoy your food as soon as you buy it!

If it is Sunday and you are in the neighbourhood don’t miss this! A very unique experience. This is a well-curated farmers market with local vendors, farmers, artists, and many others from outside metro manila.
